What this medicine is for

An antiseptic, pain relieving gel specially made for teething troubles. Acts quickly to relieve the pain of teething and soothe sore gums.

Before you use this medicine

Do not use:

• If your child is allergic to any of the ingredients


• If your child is under 3 months, unless your doctor tells you to

Information about some of the ingredients:

Sorbic acid (E200) may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).

Information for adults intending to use this medicine:

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless your doctor tells you to.

How to use this medicine

Check the tube seal is not broken before first use. If it is, do not use the gel.

Pierce tube seal with end of cap.

Apply to the teeth and gums with a clean finger.

Children of 3 months and over: Apply a small amount of gel to the sore area every 3 hours during the day, if you need to.

Do not use on children under 3 months.

Do not use more than the amount recommended above.

If symptoms do not go away talk to your pharmacist or doctor.

If you use too much or anyone accidentally swallows some: Talk to a pharmacist or doctor.

Possible side effects

Most people will not have problems, but some may get some.

If your child gets any of these serious side effects, stop using the gel. See a doctor at once:

• Difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, neck, tongue or throat (severe allergic reaction)

If you notice any side effect not listed here, please tell your pharmacist or doctor.

Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.

Use by the date on the end flap of the carton.

Active ingredients

This gel contains Cetylpyridinium Chloride 0.02% w/w, Lidocaine Hydrochloride 0.6% w/w.

Also contains: purified water, glycerol (E422), hypromellose, sodium citrate, citric acid, sodium chloride, saccharin sodium, sorbic acid (E200), natural flavour (spearmint).
